Chapter 4 - The Hidden Ruins
You've done the apps. You know the words and the rules but you still can't hold a real conversation... Memorization only gets you so far.
Katasaga is the next level up: you get immersed into real stories, hold conversations out loud, while in the background every knowledge gap you didn't even know you had gets captured automatically.
Step 01
Every story is its own world with its own theme, characters & challenges. Specify the details (such as language) you're learning and immerse yourself in a new environment.
Step 02
Each chapter starts with background information and the goals needed to complete. You might need to read certain documents, pay attention to details and engage in real-time conversations in order to pass.
Step 03
After completing each chapter, you get an analysis of your performance. Words or grammar concepts you didn't know/struggled with get captured automatically so you can them practice later.
Real-time conversations
A real-time voice tutor holds the conversation with you, in scenarios built for your level or for the exam you've got coming up. And if you just want a casual chat, free form conversation is available too.
Vocabulary & grammar
Katasaga picks up words or concepts you don't know during a conversation and creates explanation cards automatically to help you understand. These cards are then available for spaced repetition so you can practice your weakest areas.
Stories
Every story unfolds in chapters, each with its own setting, characters, and moment where you have to speak your way through. As the story progresses, so do you.

Katasaga builds real speaking confidence through story-driven conversation, and that same skill carries straight into your oral exam, whichever language you're preparing for.
We also offer dedicated exam-prep sessions: you're given resources, which you must analyse, read and then use during the examination practice. The same format used in most oral exams. Afterwards you get a detailed review so you know exactly what you need to improve on.
